My goal with every single shoot is to preserve your unique relationship in its most authentic and adventurous form, creating memories that resonate and stories that last a lifetime. After all, you only get one life, so fucking live it 🤘🏼
But my passion doesn’t stop there. I also love sharing my expertise and insights with fellow photographers, helping them grow and elevate their craft. Whether it’s through mentorship, behind-the-scenes guidance, or sharing tips and tricks I’ve learned over the years, I’m here to support others in capturing moments that matter just as much. Let’s create, learn, and live boldly—together.
Everything’s starting to look alive again (at least where I am!).
Plans are picking up, weekends are starting to fill, and it finally feels like people are ready to be out and doing things again. There’s just more energy all around, and you can feel that shift pretty quickly.
After a slower winter, this is usually when things start opening up for photographers. Bookings come in easier. Your calendar starts filling without much push. And with that, there’s a lot more room to get creative with what you offer.
Spring naturally brings more demand, which gives you the space to try different types of sessions and see what really works for you. Here are a few ideas you can lean into this season.
Mini sessions are one of the easiest ways to book out quickly this season.
Offer a 30-minute session in one location with a consistent setup. Include a small set of edited images with the option to upgrade. Choose a spot that already looks good in spring. Keep the setup simple so your visuals stay consistent across bookings.
To get these fully booked:

Spring is when couples are actively planning.
Offer engagement sessions as a standalone or bundle it with wedding packages. Give options like a full 60-minute session or a shorter version for something more relaxed.
Position it as something they can use right away. Save-the-dates, wedding websites, or announcements.
To get more bookings:
Bridal sessions are one of the easiest ways to add more value without needing new clients.
Offer a separate 45 to 60-minute session before the wedding day. This gives your client the chance to wear their dress again, without the timeline, guests, or pressure of the actual day.
You can guide them into more intentional locations too. A quiet outdoor spot, a styled indoor space, or even a studio setup that feels a bit more elevated than a typical wedding backdrop.
It also gives you room to focus on details you usually rush through. Clean portraits, dress movement, close-up shots, and more editorial-style images.
To position it better:
Family sessions tend to book easily this time of year.
Offer 30 to 60-minute sessions depending on your style, or turn them into mini sessions if you want to fit more clients into a single day. Keep the flow relaxed and not overly posed. Movement works better, especially with kids.
Location matters here too. Open spaces, parks, or anywhere with room for them to move naturally tends to photograph better than something too structured.
To get these booked:

Not every couple is planning a wedding, but that doesn’t mean they don’t want photos.
Offer 30 to 45-minute sessions with a more casual, lifestyle feel. Walking, talking, interacting, less posing. These are easy to shoot and feel more relaxed for the client, which usually shows in the photos.
To market this:

Spring is when a lot of businesses refresh their content.
Offer 30 to 60-minute branding sessions focused on what they actually need. Website photos, social media content, product shots.
You can also batch these by offering limited slots on one day for multiple businesses.
To book these out:
Spring is one of the best times to offer maternity sessions.
Everything feels softer, more natural, and it fits the tone most clients are already looking for. Flowy dresses, simple outdoor locations, and a relaxed pace work really well here.
You can offer 30 to 60-minute sessions depending on your style, or even shorter options for something more casual.
To book these:

This is a more creative option that stands out a bit.
A simple picnic setup, a casual walk, or just a “day out” kind of session. It feels relaxed, less structured, and gives your photos a different look without needing anything overly styled.
You can also encourage clients to bring their pets along. It makes the session feel more personal and natural, and it usually brings out more genuine moments.
This works well for couples, families, or even solo sessions.
To make it work:
Spring has a way of making things feel easier.
You step outside and it already looks good. And that’s what makes this season different. You don’t have to offer everything. Choose what would actually help you book more, or test something new while the demand is there.
