1st Stop

We packed the night before (as always, LATE) and headed on our way when the time came. Did we have a plan? No. But that’s what made it fun. On the way out of town, we knew this was going to be a long night. To keep us up after working all day, we made our first stop, a coffee stop! This was the first expense of our Nova Scotia Road trip. OntariođŸ‘‰đŸ» Nova Scotia

Major Expense

A MAJOR expense of every road trip is, you said it, gas. We made 10 separate stops to fill up our van. Nova Scotia is located in Eastern Canada so we had quite the drive ahead of us.

Some days look liked thisđŸ‘‰đŸ»

Nova Scotia in the summer was calling my name during those winter months.

We tracked our expenses during this trip to stick to a budget. I used my notes app on my iPhone, other options are budgeting with excel or google sheets.

Lodging

Our trip was 9 days so we knew we had to prep our travel van for this trip. We slept in our van each night, while we stayed in available parking lots, as well as campsites with amazing scenery. I love waking up to the sounds of crashing waves🌊

Food & Drink

We stopped at many local breweries and restaurants, including breakfast at Peggys Cove in Nova Scotia. There were stops at groceries stores to keep our cooler stocked for our days on the road.
